Privacy Policies for Mex Hoteles

REGULAR RESERVATION GUARANTEE Reservations are guaranteed only and exclusively at the time of providing valid data of a Credit Card and making the retention of the first night or making a deposit/bank transfer for the value of the first night.

MEX Hotels will charge your Credit Card for the value of the first night of the room (s) 7 days before your arrival date; in case of not having sufficient funds or the card details are incorrect, the reservation will be canceled.

CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION POLICY FOR REGULAR RESERVATION Reservations may be canceled or modified (change of date / reduction of rooms in the case of a group) without penalty by writing to info@mexhoteles.mx up to 24 hours before the client's arrival date, once this is done the retention will be released. In the case of a reservation modification, the rates must be recalculated according to the new date and type of room/s chosen. Cancellations or modifications (change of date / reduction of rooms in case of group) made 6 days or less before the arrival date will be penalized with the non-refund of the value of the first night.

CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION POLICY IN PEAK SEASONReservations with stays during special dates may be canceled or modified (change of date / reduction of rooms in case of group) without penalty by writing to info@mexhoteles.mx up to 15 days before the date upon the arrival, once this is done, the retention will be released. In the case of a reservation modification, the rates must be recalculated according to the new date and type of rooms chosen. Cancellations or modifications (change of date / reduction of rooms in case of group) made 14 days or less before the arrival date will be penalized with the non-refund of the total value of the reservation.

NO-SHOWS AND / OR EARLY DEPARTURES FOR REGULAR RESERVATION The penalty in case of no-show or non-arrival will be the non-refund of the value of the first night of the room / s and the immediate cancellation of the remaining nights stay.

NO-SHOWS AND / OR EARLY DEPARTURES IN HIGH SEASON The penalty in case of no show or no arrival during special dates will be THE TOTAL CHARGE of the reservation; to keep the remaining nights of the reservation, you must notify us by email to info@mexhoteles.com. No date changes (neither entry nor exit) can be made.

  • Restaurant: 7:00 a.m. — 11:00 p.m.
  • Room Service: 8:00 a.m. — 10:00 pm.

GENERAL POLICIES

Check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. and to check out is set at 12:00 p.m. each day. If any guest stays longer, they will be charged one more day. (It has a maximum tolerance of 1 hour, with the prior consent of the reception department)

No person has the right to give accommodation to another pax without the prior consent of the management and make arrangements for its registration or fee, only with the permission of the manager of the establishment may guests have private staff at their service, and in this case they will be considered as guests in charge of the owner's room, who is responsible for their conduct.

Users are prohibited from performing, during their stay, acts that lack of morality, good manners or affects the tranquility of the rest of the guests. The guest must behave with decency and morality within the establishment, being prohibited from disturbing the order, making noises that disturb other guests, as well as using the room to perform any act or game prohibited by law. Otherwise, the establishment may cancel the lodging services in these cases.

The hotel reserves the right to admit visitors or occasional companions to the hotel facilities, in no case will they be allowed access to the rooms. It is a security measure for both the client and the hotel.

The establishment strictly prohibits the use of candles, incense, hazardous or flammable material; as well as the use of unwrapped chocolates in our whites. Ignoring this rule will result in a fine equal to the cost of your room.

The hotel will not be responsible for money or valuables left in the room or public areas. So we remind you that inside the closet is the safe, supported by a manual for its use. Also, you can safeguard your valuables in the administration's safe by going directly to reception.

The sheets, blankets, mattress covers, bedspreads, towels and plush carpets found dirty, torn or stained (blood or any other liquid, or substance), due to their irresponsible use, will be charged to the guest, generating an extra expense of $300 at least or, the total cost of the pledge. Payments are made immediately and in cash.

In accordance with the National Anti-Smoking Law, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the rooms, the client who is discovered smoking inside them, will be charged 40% of the total rate as a cleaning cost in each incident. In case of leaving the room impregnated with the smell of cigarettes, a charge will be generated in the amount of $4,000 for cleaning and purifying the room. Designated smoking locations are terrace areas and/or open spaces only.
